🔥 KILLER LOOKS. INSANE TONE. BUTTERY PLAYABILITY. THIS ONE CHECKS EVERY BOX. 🔥
Imagine a guitar that doesn’t just look the part — it owns the stage and studio like a true legend.
This is it.
Up for grabs at The Guitar Dude is a stunning 1989 Greco EG59-60 — a Japanese masterpiece that captures the magic of a late ‘50s Gibson Les Paul Standard Reissue with serious soul and swagger.
Why this guitar hits different:
• Drop-dead gorgeous 2-piece slightly figured maple top that glows with vintage beauty
• Killer aged to honey/amber finish tones
• One-piece mahogany body + long neck tenon for incredible sustain and resonance
• Comfortable, chunky C-profile neck that feels like it was carved for your hand
• Tightly grained rosewood fretboard with 22 frets — silky smooth and fast
• Maxon “SCREAM’IN” humbuckers — low-output PAF-style monsters that deliver rich, articulate Gibson Custom tones with stunning clarity, growl, and harmonic sparkle
This thing has warm, balanced tone for days. Roll it back for creamy classic rock rhythms that sing, or push it hard for blistering leads with serious bite and punch-through power. It does everything exceptionally well.
Condition & Mojo:
Now approaching 37 years young, this Greco is in sweet for vintage overall condition and plays like a dream. It’s been professionally set up with a perfectly straight neck, leveled/dressed/polished frets, and spot-on intonation.
It’s earned some honest vintage character:
• Cool aging and wear on the nickel hardware
• Yellowing on the binding and pickup rings
• A couple small dings on the top
• More noticeable (but totally battle-worn) nicks, scratches, and finish clouding on the back
This isn’t a fragile collector piece — it’s a road-ready, tone-drenched performer with real personality and certified funky mojo.
Greco nailed it with their Les Paul models, and this EG59-60 is one of their finest efforts — accurate specs, exemplary build quality, and that special “something extra” that makes it feel alive in your hands.
Serious players know: When looks, tone, playability, and build all line up perfectly… you’ve found something special.
This glistening gem from the Land of the Rising Sun is ready to make music and turn heads.
Les Paul season is always open at The Guitar Dude — and this one is extra spicy.
DM me if you’re ready to own a true player’s guitar that delivers the full experience. This beauty won’t last long.

Our Guarantee
We stand behind every guitar we sell. “Good enough” is never good enough. Every instrument is inspected, set up, and tested by multiple people immediately before shipping. We deliver the highest standard of quality and have built a reputation as a three-time NAMM Top 100 Dealer since 2009. The Dude Abides.
Neck & Setup - (unless otherwise noted)
- Neck is perfectly straight with no truss-rod issues.
- Intonation is spot-on.
- Professionally set up with low action and new American-made strings.
- All frets are dressed, leveled, crowned (if needed), and all frets on all guitars are polished to shine like new with no divots.
Return Policy, Restocking Fees & No Tire-Kicking Policy
We follow Reverb’s 7-day return policy. However:
- You must notify us in writing within 3 days of delivery (per tracking) of your intent to return.
- Original shipping and return shipping costs are not refunded unless the guitar is damaged in transit or is significantly not as described.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns for any reason other than damage in transit or significantly not as described.
We record demo videos of every guitar before shipping to document exact condition and performance. Additional photos, measurements, or in-hand descriptions are available upon request prior to purchase.
Minor adjustments and tweaks to a set up (for example to correct a slight buzz or truss-rod tweak) are normal after shipping due to carrier mishandling the package, climate & atmospheric changes, especially when moving from South Florida to colder or less humid environments. These slight issues do not constitute “significantly not as described.” Guitars must be returned in the exact same condition as received/advertised or additional repair/restocking fees will apply.
We are a small family owned and run business, not a big-chain retailer. We invest significant time, money and effort into every guitar. This is a NO TIRE-KICKING shop. There is no post purchase haggling or partial refunds. If minor cosmetic marks, tiny imperfections, or the possibility of a post-shipping setup tweak makes you uncomfortable, please do not buy. Plenty of large retailers offer free trials and can absorb shipping costs—we do not.
