🔥 1992 Orville Les Paul Custom: Black, Broken-In, and Ready to Rock” 🔥
This is no ordinary Les Paul. This 1992 Orville by Gibson Les Paul Custom is a sleek, black beauty that delivers serious vintage tone, elite playability, and a direct connection to one of the greatest guitar techs in rock history.
Dressed in deep, glossy ebony black with that unmistakable Custom flair — multi-ply binding, gold hardware, and elegant pearl block inlays — this guitar looks every bit the premium instrument it is. The body is thick and resonant, the neck is a comfortable, chunky ’90s profile that feels broken-in and ready to play for hours. From the first chord, you’ll feel the sustain ringing forever and the rich, harmonic complexity that only a properly built Les Paul can deliver.
Key Features That Make This One Special:
• Original Gibson Pickups — These aren’t aftermarket; you’re getting that authentic Gibson humbucker growl. Fat, singing mids, tight bass, and crystalline highs when you roll back the volume. Perfect for everything from bluesy SRV-style leads to crushing classic rock rhythms.
• World-Class Headstock Repair — Professionally fixed by the legendary Jim Hamilton (Stevie Ray Vaughan’s longtime friend & luthier of his "Main" guitar). This isn’t just a solid repair — it’s a master’s touch that ensures the guitar plays and sounds exactly as it should. You’re buying peace of mind and provenance. (it was a slight crack nothing crazy)
• Pro Setup & Dialed-In Perfection — Fresh professional setup with optimal action, intonation, and relief. It plays like a dream — smooth, fast, and inspiring. Plug in and the tone jumps out of the amp ready to go.
Yes, it shows its 34 years with honest battle scars: a few dings, dents, and scratches that tell the story of a guitar that’s been played and loved. But overall it remains in very nice condition for its age — no major issues, no structural problems, and the finish still pops under the lights.
This Orville by Gibson is the real deal: built in the golden era of Japanese craftsmanship under Gibson’s watchful eye, loaded with original USA pickups, and blessed by one of the most respected names in the business. Whether you’re chasing that thick, creamy Les Paul sustain or searing leads with singing feedback, this guitar is primed and ready.
Serious players only. If you appreciate history, tone, and a guitar that feels alive in your hands, this one is calling your name.

Neck & Setup - (unless otherwise noted)
- Neck is perfectly straight with no truss-rod issues.
- Intonation is spot-on.
- Professionally set up with low action and new American-made strings.
- All frets are dressed, leveled, crowned (if needed), and all frets on all guitars are polished to shine like new with no divots.
Return Policy, Restocking Fees & No Tire-Kicking Policy
We follow Reverb’s 7-day return policy. However:
- You must notify us in writing within 3 days of delivery (per tracking) of your intent to return.
- Original shipping and return shipping costs are not refunded unless the guitar is damaged in transit or is significantly not as described.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns for any reason other than damage in transit or significantly not as described.
We record demo videos of every guitar before shipping to document exact condition and performance. Additional photos, measurements, or in-hand descriptions are available upon request prior to purchase.
Minor adjustments and tweaks to a set up (for example to correct a slight buzz or truss-rod tweak) are normal after shipping due to carrier mishandling the package, climate & atmospheric changes, especially when moving from South Florida to colder or less humid environments. These slight issues do not constitute “significantly not as described.” Guitars must be returned in the exact same condition as received/advertised or additional repair/restocking fees will apply.
We are a small family owned and run business, not a big-chain retailer. We invest significant time, money and effort into every guitar. This is a NO TIRE-KICKING shop. There is no post purchase haggling or partial refunds. If minor cosmetic marks, tiny imperfections, or the possibility of a post-shipping setup tweak makes you uncomfortable, please do not buy. Plenty of large retailers offer free trials and can absorb shipping costs—we do not.
