🔥 1994 Gibson Les Paul Standard – Honey Burst Nitro – Good Wood Era Flame Top with Yamano Export Swag! 🔥

This is the Les Paul that hits you right in the soul — a 1994 Gibson Les Paul Standard in a rich, glowing Honey Burst nitrocellulose finish, loaded with vintage-correct beauty and serious pro-level tone.

From Gibson’s celebrated “Good Wood” era (late ’80s to mid-’90s), this guitar benefits from the tight quality control, hand-selected tonewoods, and resonant magic that players still chase today. These instruments are known for their lively, heavy mahogany backs and premium maple tops that produce exceptional sustain, warmth, and dynamic response. 1994 was Gibson's Bicentennial Anniversary and everything was made to the highest standards.

The star of the show is the beautiful vintage-correct flamed maple top featuring subtle, tight tiger-stripe flames that dance elegantly under the translucent Honey Burst nitro. It’s classy, not flashy — exactly the kind of figured top that made ’90s Gibsons special.

This example was originally exported by Yamano Music (Yamano Gakki) to Japan. Yamano has long been one of Japan’s most respected music retailers and distributors. They were famously selective, hand-picking only the best instruments for the demanding Japanese market — resulting in guitars that often received extra attention to fit, finish, wood quality, and setup. Yamano-sourced Gibsons carry a strong reputation among collectors for superior examples from their production runs.

Condition & Setup:

•  In pretty excellent condition for a 32-year-old guitar, with honest play wear that adds character.

•  A few typical dings on the back and a professional headstock repair (clean, stable, and done right — common and solid on these models).

•  Professionally set up and dialed in for optimal tone, low comfortable action, perfect intonation, and reliable tuning stability.

Sound & Electronics: This Les Paul has tons of professional player-ready mojo and delivers the goods the moment you plug in. It features upgraded Seymour Duncan pickups: a 59NL (neck) and 59BG (bridge). These ’59-style humbuckers are a fantastic upgrade, providing warm, articulate PAF-inspired tones with excellent clarity and dynamics.

Expect buttery, vocal-like neck tones with sweet cleans and singing leads, punchy, mid-forward bridge growl that excels with overdrive and distortion, and outstanding note separation even under gain. The pickups blend beautifully, offering everything from smooth blues and classic rock sustain to aggressive, harmonically rich crunch without muddiness. Paired with the lively Good Wood-era body and that flamed maple top, this guitar sings with thick, woody warmth, long sustain, and that unmistakable Les Paul “woman tone” when you roll back the volume.

Aside from the pickups, she is 100% original, including hardware, binding, tuners, and controls. The nitro finish has aged gracefully, adding to the vintage vibe and feel.

Whether you play classic rock, blues, hard rock, or studio sessions, this 1994 Yamano-export Standard is a tone monster that feels broken-in and inspiring from the first chord.

Serious players & collectors only. This is a well-cared-for example from one of Gibson’s strongest modern eras, with desirable Yamano history and killer upgraded pickups that make it gig- and studio-ready.

“Good Wood flames, Yamano selection, Duncan ’59 power — ready to roar.” 🎸🍯🔥

Our Guarantee

We stand behind every guitar we sell. “Good enough” is never good enough. Every instrument is inspected, set up, and tested by multiple people immediately before shipping. We deliver the highest standard of quality and have built a reputation as a three-time NAMM Top 100 Dealer since 2009. The Dude Abides.

Neck & Setup - (unless otherwise noted)

- Neck is perfectly straight with no truss-rod issues.

- Intonation is spot-on.

- Professionally set up with low action and new American-made strings.

- All frets are dressed, leveled, crowned (if needed), and all frets on all guitars are polished to shine like new with no divots.

Return Policy, Restocking Fees & No Tire-Kicking Policy

We follow Reverb’s 7-day return policy. However:

- You must notify us in writing within 3 days of delivery (per tracking) of your intent to return.

- Original shipping and return shipping costs are not refunded unless the guitar is damaged in transit or is significantly not as described.

- A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns for any reason other than damage in transit or significantly not as described.

We record demo videos of every guitar before shipping to document exact condition and performance. Additional photos, measurements, or in-hand descriptions are available upon request prior to purchase.

Minor adjustments and tweaks to a set up (for example to correct a slight buzz or truss-rod tweak) are normal after shipping due to carrier mishandling the package, climate & atmospheric changes, especially when moving from South Florida to colder or less humid environments. These slight issues do not constitute “significantly not as described.” Guitars must be returned in the exact same condition as received/advertised or additional repair/restocking fees will apply.

We are a small business, not a big-chain retailer. We invest significant time and effort into every guitar. This is a NO TIRE-KICKING shop. There is no post purchase haggling or partial refunds. If minor cosmetic marks, tiny imperfections, or the possibility of a post-shipping setup tweak makes you uncomfortable, please do not buy. Plenty of large retailers offer free trials and can absorb shipping costs—we do not.

Payment, Shipping & International Duties

- All items can be shipped internationally. Buyer is fully responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs fees.

- We accept PayPal, PayPal Credit, Affirm, and other major payment methods.

- Most U.S. shipments are sent via UPS or FedEx with full insurance, tracking, and signature confirmation. All packages are professionally packed for maximum protection.
