Dive into this 1996 Ibanez J Custom RG1608—a premium shredder from the golden era of Ibanez innovation, draped in a mesmerizing Silky Blue finish that shimmers like an ocean wave under spotlights. This isn’t just an RG; it’s a J Custom beast, built for speed demons who crave precision and power. With its HSH pickup configuration featuring DiMarzio humbuckers and a single coil, you’ll unleash everything from scorching leads to crystalline cleans, all dialed in for that “super” sustain and harmonic heaven. All original and professionally set up, this axe is shred-ready right out of the gate—low action, spot-on intonation, and a feel that’s smoother than silk!
Crafted in Japan at the FujiGen factory, this RG boasts a lightweight mahogany body topped with a stunning 7mm AAA flamed maple cap, delivering resonant warmth with a visual pop that turns heads. The super-slim 3-piece maple neck is a dream for high-speed runs, paired with a rosewood fretboard adorned with offset abalone dots for that premium touch. The Lo-Pro Edge tremolo lets you dive-bomb with stability, while Gotoh tuners keep you locked in tune through the wildest whammy antics.
