🔥 1997 Grover Jackson KV.D-120 King V – Silver Sparkle Shred Machine 🔥

This is not just a guitar. This is a battle-proven, neck-through, high-output metal weapon straight from the golden era of ’90s Japanese Jackson craftsmanship. Born in 1997 and built like a tank for serious shredders, this Grover Jackson King V is ready to dominate stages, bedrooms, and studios alike.

Looks That Kill

Draped in a stunning original silver sparkle finish that has mellowed over nearly 30 years into a gorgeous, warm champagne sparkle. It catches the light like liquid metal—subtle yet aggressive, vintage yet timeless. The symmetrical King V body shape screams power and attitude, with those iconic pointed wings ready to slice through the air during your most furious windmills.

Paired with a sleek bound rosewood fingerboard featuring killer sharkfin inlays, this thing looks as mean as it plays.

Condition & Setup

In excellent shape for a true player’s shredder. Yes, it shows honest battle scars: the typical chipped tips on those aggressive V points (standard wear on these beasts) and some honest corrosion on the black hardware from decades of rocking. But the rest? Clean, straight, and mean. No major dings, cracks, or issues that affect playability or tone.

Professionally dialed in for optimal tone, action, intonation, and playability. Frets are polished and ready to fly. This guitar feels alive in your hands—fast, responsive, and inspiring.

Specs & Performance

•  Neck-through construction: Maple neck with poplar body wings for incredible sustain and resonance.

•  Scale: 25.5” with 24 jumbo frets for effortless access to the upper registers.

•  Fingerboard: Bound rosewood with pearl sharkfin inlays—thin, fast, and comfortable profile.

•  Pickups: Hot-rodded with a Jackson J-50N in the neck and a Seymour Duncan humbucker in the bridge—massive, articulate tone with bite, clarity, and singing sustain. Perfect for thrash, metal, neoclassical shred, or even modern high-gain tones.

•  Hardware: Schaller double-locking tremolo (bar included) for dive-bombing stability.

•  Controls: 1 Vol, 1 Tone, 3-way toggle—simple and effective.

Lightweight and balanced, this King V hangs comfortably whether you’re seated or standing, and it stays in tune like a champ thanks to the pro setup and locking trem.

If you’re chasing that ’90s MIJ Jackson magic—think razor-sharp leads, crushing rhythms, and pure metal attitude—this is your unicorn. Rare, cool, and gig-ready right out of the case.

Serious players only. This is a tone monster that’s been loved and played hard, exactly how these guitars were meant to live. Don’t miss your chance to own a piece of Jackson history that still shreds with the best of them.

Our Guarantee

We stand behind every guitar we sell. “Good enough” is never good enough. Every instrument is inspected, set up, and tested by multiple people immediately before shipping. We deliver the highest standard of quality and have built a reputation as a three-time NAMM Top 100 Dealer since 2009. The Dude Abides.

Neck & Setup - (unless otherwise noted)

- Neck is perfectly straight with no truss-rod issues.

- Intonation is spot-on.

- Professionally set up with low action and new American-made strings.

- All frets are dressed, leveled, crowned (if needed), and all frets on all guitars are polished to shine like new with no divots.

Return Policy, Restocking Fees & No Tire-Kicking Policy

We follow Reverb’s 7-day return policy. However:

- You must notify us in writing within 3 days of delivery (per tracking) of your intent to return.

- Original shipping and return shipping costs are not refunded unless the guitar is damaged in transit or is significantly not as described.

- A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns for any reason other than damage in transit or significantly not as described.

We record demo videos of every guitar before shipping to document exact condition and performance. Additional photos, measurements, or in-hand descriptions are available upon request prior to purchase.

Minor adjustments and tweaks to a set up (for example to correct a slight buzz or truss-rod tweak) are normal after shipping due to carrier mishandling the package, climate & atmospheric changes, especially when moving from South Florida to colder or less humid environments. These slight issues do not constitute “significantly not as described.” Guitars must be returned in the exact same condition as received/advertised or additional repair/restocking fees will apply.

We are a small family owned and run business, not a big-chain retailer. We invest significant time, money and effort into every guitar. This is a NO TIRE-KICKING shop. There is no post purchase haggling or partial refunds. If minor cosmetic marks, tiny imperfections, or the possibility of a post-shipping setup tweak makes you uncomfortable, please do not buy. Plenty of large retailers offer free trials and can absorb shipping costs—we do not.

Payment, Shipping & International Duties

- All items can be shipped internationally. Buyer is fully responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs fees.

- We accept PayPal, PayPal Credit, Affirm, and other major payment methods.

- Most U.S. shipments are sent via UPS or FedEx with full insurance, tracking, and signature confirmation. All packages are professionally packed for maximum protection.

International Shipping Note

International shipping prices shown are for most countries. Certain countries have higher costs. We try and avoid USPS and mostly ship UPS. Express services (UPS, DHL, FedEx) are always available. Contact us for a personalized quote.
