In a world of iconic guitars and legendary guitar builders there is one electric guitar that rules the roost. The Fender Stratocaster is certainly the instrument that the guitar playing world would come to place upon the pedestal of greatness. The Fender Strat has been on more stages and graced more recordings than likely any other model or brand. This example of Stratocaster Power is exemplary in its sonic mojo, appearance and certainly it's performance. Crafted in Japan at the legendary Tokai factory around the year 1999 this red hot barnstormer has everything you'll need to fuel your performance and take it to the next level. The Old Candy Red finish has remained vibrant and really catches the eyes. To get this supreme being done correctly, Fender started with a lightweight, two-piece alder body and loaded it with three ST-Vintage USA pickups, wired traditionally with the exception of a five-way switch to make accessing the "in between" sounds a cinch. The neck is a beautiful straight grain, one piece maple affair with a slick, substantial oval profile, 21 vintage-style frets and classic four-bolt installation. An authentically tooled, vintage style bridge and saddles, classic tuning machines and period correct nut width keep the vintage mojo rolling along perfectly. The guitar has a perfect, classic Strat tone down with plenty of punch from the US pups, running the spectrum from smooth bell-like warmth, scooped funky quack, and percussive, incendiary, biting lead tones. This instrument is running on all cylinders with a classically balanced, perfectly contoured feel to both the neck and body. Warm and resonant, biting and articulate this axe has rock and roll in it's DNA and Chicago Blues in it's soul. Cosmetically the piece is as pretty as a show pony with very little wear and is super clean yet loaded with MOJO. If you are looking for a long-term, main squeeze that with relic along with you over the ages this Old Candy Red vintage vibing tone monster will set you right and satisfy your sweet tooth.
The 1999 Fender Japan ST57-78US '57 Stratocaster Reissue featured an alder body, U.S.-made vintage-style pickups, and a maple neck with a 7.25-inch radius. The "US" suffix indicated that the guitar was equipped with U.S.-made pickups, which distinguished it from other ST57 models produced for the domestic Japanese market.

We recognize and accept a 7 day return policy as per Reverb guidelines, BUT intentions of the return must be communicated in writing within 3 day of receiving the guitar as indicated by the tracking. Unless the guitar is not as described, ORIGINAL & RETURN SHIPPING COSTS WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. There is a 10% Re-stocking fee for ALL guitars that are returned for ANY reason outside of damage from shipping or it arrives significantly not as described. Please note that we record demo videos to make sure our guitars go out exactly as we describe them with zero issues. We understand that feeling comfortable is vital to the purchase of a guitar/bass so in any case, additional measurements or in hand descriptions are available prior to purchase/shipping. Thats said, guitars travel a great distance some times and in transit things can happen. Also guitars acclimate to new environments and this can cause a need for a new set up or minor adjustment. It is acceptable and normal if there is for instance a tiny bit of buzzing or the need to adjust a truss rod.
