🔥 Black Mirror Beast: 2005 Edwards by ESP E-FV-CTM Flying V – Modified Shred Machine! 🔥
Crank up the gain and prepare for liftoff with this 2005 Edwards by ESP Flying V (modified E-FV-CTM). Finished in high-gloss black with block inlays, dazzling mirror pickguard and mirror truss rod cover, this guitar looks as menacing and sharp as it plays. The reflective mirror accents pop dramatically against the deep gloss black body, giving it a custom-shop, high-end metal attitude that turns heads on stage and in the studio.
Killer Looks & Excellent Vintage Condition
This Flying V has aged gracefully with only light playwear — a few honest marks that add real character without detracting from its overall excellent condition for a 20-year-old guitar. The gloss black finish still shines deep and rich, the mirror parts are clean and flashy, and the iconic ESP sharp-pointed Flying V shape remains as aggressive and ergonomic as ever. It feels like a true performer’s weapon that’s been loved but never abused.
Powerful Modified Electronics
This V has been tastefully upgraded for maximum versatility and tone:
• Bridge Pickup: EMG passive H-4 humbucker (high-output four-coil style) — delivers crushing mids, tight low-end, and aggressive bite with razor-sharp clarity. Perfect for modern metal, thrash, and high-gain leads that cut through the mix like a chainsaw.
• Neck Pickup: Seymour Duncan SH-1N (‘59 model) — a warm, vintage PAF-style humbucker that brings rich, smooth sustain, beautiful cleans, and dynamic, articulate leads when you roll back the volume. It provides the perfect tonal contrast to the aggressive bridge, making this guitar surprisingly versatile.
The combination gives you everything from thick, singing classic rock tones to modern high-gain aggression with excellent dynamics and touch sensitivity.
Pro Setup & Playability That Shreads
This Edwards has been professionally set up and meticulously dialed in by expert techs for optimal tone and playability. Expect fast, low action with no fret buzz, smooth neck feel, perfect intonation, and rock-solid tuning stability — even under heavy tremolo or aggressive playing (if equipped). The slim, speedy neck profile and set-neck construction make lightning-fast runs, big bends, and sweeping arpeggios feel effortless.
Whether you play metal, hard rock, thrash, or even bluesy leads, this Flying V inspires you to push your limits.

Our Guarantee
We stand behind every guitar we sell. “Good enough” is never good enough. Every instrument is inspected, set up, and tested by multiple people immediately before shipping. We deliver the highest standard of quality and have built a reputation as a three-time NAMM Top 100 Dealer since 2009. The Dude Abides.
Neck & Setup - (unless otherwise noted)
- Neck is perfectly straight with no truss-rod issues.
- Intonation is spot-on.
- Professionally set up with low action and new American-made strings.
- All frets are dressed, leveled, crowned (if needed), and all frets on all guitars are polished to shine like new with no divots.
Return Policy, Restocking Fees & No Tire-Kicking Policy
We follow Reverb’s 7-day return policy. However:
- You must notify us in writing within 3 days of delivery (per tracking) of your intent to return.
- Original shipping and return shipping costs are not refunded unless the guitar is damaged in transit or is significantly not as described.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns for any reason other than damage in transit or significantly not as described.
We record demo videos of every guitar before shipping to document exact condition and performance. Additional photos, measurements, or in-hand descriptions are available upon request prior to purchase.
Minor adjustments and tweaks to a set up (for example to correct a slight buzz or truss-rod tweak) are normal after shipping due to carrier mishandling the package, climate & atmospheric changes, especially when moving from South Florida to colder or less humid environments. These slight issues do not constitute “significantly not as described.” Guitars must be returned in the exact same condition as received/advertised or additional repair/restocking fees will apply.
We are a small family owned and run business, not a big-chain retailer. We invest significant time, money and effort into every guitar. This is a NO TIRE-KICKING shop. There is no post purchase haggling or partial refunds. If minor cosmetic marks, tiny imperfections, or the possibility of a post-shipping setup tweak makes you uncomfortable, please do not buy. Plenty of large retailers offer free trials and can absorb shipping costs—we do not.
