The lightweight alder body is resonant and exhibits the traditional carve and contoured body that is period correct. The one-piece maple neck has an oval profile and is topped with a dark rosewood slab board with vintage 7.25" radius, and 21 vintage style frets. The neck plays fantastically and is straight and true, sets up well, and easily rivals the best USA-made re-issues. Under the hood it's CTS pots, cloth wiring and a trio of hot, vintage voiced Texas Special Pickups that with put some real spice into your cool blues. The finish is sexy and sweet with a matching headstock topped with a traditional logo decal keeping with the period feel of the piece. Cosmetically she's in phenomenal condition with one tiny scratch on the front of the body, otherwise near mint. This tone machine can rock with the boys, go out honky-tonking with the ladies or just mix it up with a straight up hard shot of dirty rhythm and blues. This Texas-Toned beauty get's our pick of the day here at The Guitar Dude, so grab two or three hombres, dust off your boots and pop a cold one-Stratocaster dreams are made of this.

The 2010 Fender Japan ST62-TX/MH was a '62 vintage reissue Stratocaster, built exclusively for the Japanese domestic market. The "TX" in the model name indicates it came with USA-made Texas Special pickups, while "MH" stands for "matching headstock". The model was available in several finishes. Jewel Blue was not a standard color for this specific model, and a Jewel Blue version would be a rare find, likely a special or limited edition run.
