🔥 BURNY BURST FROM THE LAND OF THE RISING SUN – MID-2000s RLG-105 READY TO ROAR 🔥
This is the Japanese Les Paul that turns heads and drops jaws the second you plug it in. A true premium-grade Burny RLG-105 from the mid-2000s, built like a tank and voiced like a vintage ’59 reissue that costs five times more. If you’re hunting for that elusive ’59 Les Paul magic without the vintage price tag (or the vintage headaches), this is your unicorn. This Burny RLG-105 is a premium, Japanese-made Les Paul-style masterpiece from the mid to late -2000s – built in the same spirit as the golden-era Gibsons but with modern reliability and flawless craftsmanship that players still rave about today.
Finished with a stunning solid flame maple top that explodes with tight, 3D figuring under the urethane lacquer – the kind of book-matched beauty that turns heads the second you pull it out of the case. The mahogany body and neck deliver classic LP warmth and resonance, while the long tenon neck joint (a Burny signature) locks everything together for insane sustain, punch, and that “one-piece” feel you only get from the best Japanese builds.
Why this guitar sings like a dream:
- VH-1 pickups (the legendary Gotoh-made PAF replicas) – these are the real deal. Fat, articulate, and harmonically rich with just the right amount of vintage growl. Plug in and you get creamy, vocal neck tones that bloom into buttery leads, snarling bridge bite for rock and blues, and everything in between. Think soaring sustain, dynamic touch sensitivity, and that unmistakable mid-’50s/’60s Les Paul voice – warm yet cutting, thick yet clear. Perfect for everything from classic rock crunch to modern metal chugs.
- Mahogany neck with a comfortable ’59-style profile, rosewood fingerboard, and 22 frets that feel fast and broken-in right out of the box.
- Vintage-correct appointments, including the iconic control layout, tune-o-matic bridge, and stop tailpiece that lock in tone and tuning stability.
This example is in excellent condition for its age – clean, shiny, and gig-ready with only a couple of small, honest dings and light scratches on the back and lower back edge (typical light player wear that adds just a touch of road-worn soul without detracting from the overall beauty). No major issues, no cracks, no finish checking – it still looks and plays like a much younger guitar.
Best part? It’s already been professionally set up and dialed in by a master tech. Low, buzz-free action, perfect intonation, and every note rings true with maximum sustain and clarity. It feels alive the second you pick it up – effortless bends, buttery playability, and that long-tenon magic that makes it sustain forever.
Whether you’re chasing ’59 burst tones, Foo Fighters-style power chords, or just want the best-sounding Les Paul-style guitar in your collection, this Burny RLG-105 delivers vintage soul in a bulletproof package. These Japanese gems are getting harder to find in this condition, especially with the coveted VH-1 pickups intact.
Serious players know: Burny RLG models from this era often outperform modern Gibsons at half the price. This one won’t last long.

Our Guarantee
We stand behind every guitar we sell. “Good enough” is never good enough. Every instrument is inspected, set up, and tested by multiple people immediately before shipping. We deliver the highest standard of quality and have built a reputation as a three-time NAMM Top 100 Dealer since 2009. The Dude Abides.
Neck & Setup - (unless otherwise noted)
- Neck is perfectly straight with no truss-rod issues.
- Intonation is spot-on.
- Professionally set up with low action and new American-made strings.
- All frets are dressed, leveled, crowned (if needed), and all frets on all guitars are polished to shine like new with no divots.
Return Policy, Restocking Fees & No Tire-Kicking Policy
We follow Reverb’s 7-day return policy. However:
- You must notify us in writing within 3 days of delivery (per tracking) of your intent to return.
- Original shipping and return shipping costs are not refunded unless the guitar is damaged in transit or is significantly not as described.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns for any reason other than damage in transit or significantly not as described.
We record demo videos of every guitar before shipping to document exact condition and performance. Additional photos, measurements, or in-hand descriptions are available upon request prior to purchase.
Minor adjustments and tweaks to a set up (for example to correct a slight buzz or truss-rod tweak) are normal after shipping due to carrier mishandling the package, climate & atmospheric changes, especially when moving from South Florida to colder or less humid environments. These slight issues do not constitute “significantly not as described.” Guitars must be returned in the exact same condition as received/advertised or additional repair/restocking fees will apply.
We are a small business, not a big-chain retailer. We invest significant time and effort into every guitar. This is a NO TIRE-KICKING shop. There is no post purchase haggling or partial refunds. If minor cosmetic marks, tiny imperfections, or the possibility of a post-shipping setup tweak makes you uncomfortable, please do not buy. Plenty of large retailers offer free trials and can absorb shipping costs—we do not.
Payment, Shipping & International Duties
- All items can be shipped internationally. Buyer is fully responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs fees.
