The 2008 Fender J Craft Jaguar Bass in Hot Rod Red has an alder body, a 34-inch scale length maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, and an active/passive electronic system with two single-coil Jazz Bass pickups. It features a unique control layout with individual pickup on/off switches, series/parallel switching, and active EQ with bass and treble boost/cut wheels. The bass is a 4-string model with a matching headstock and block inlays.
