🔥 2006 Fender Japan ST-57 – Rare Iced Blue Metallic ’57 Strat Reissue That Shimmers Like Liquid Metal! 🔥
This isn’t just a Strat — this is a limited-run Japanese masterpiece from the golden era of Fender Japan, a true ’57 reissue that captures every ounce of that vintage sparkle, snap, and soul… but with the flawless build quality and playability that made MIJ legends the envy of the industry.
The finish is pure magic: a stunning Ocean Turquoise Metallic that is icy cool and electric, with a light blueish greenish tint. It’s hypnotic under stage lights or in your hands, turning heads before you even plug in. The metallic flake catches every ray and gives this guitar a personality all its own.
Body is lightweight and resonant, neck is that classic one-piece maple with the perfect vintage C shape that feels broken-in from the first chord. 21 frets, vintage radius, and all the right details that make a ’57 reissue feel and sound authentic.
It’s in near-mint condition for a 20-year-old guitar — glassy smooth finish everywhere except for one tiny, honest little scratch on the back (see pics) that proves it was actually played and loved (nothing that affects play or value). No cracks, no dents, no wear that matters.
Best part? It’s had a full professional setup and is dialed in perfectly for optimal tone and playability. Action is silky low with zero buzz, intonation is spot-on, and it rings with that signature Strat quack, chime, and singing sustain the second you hit it. Glassy cleans that sparkle, fat rhythms that bite, and leads that soar — all the vintage vibe with modern reliability and effortless feel.
If you’ve been chasing a rare-color MIJ ’57 that looks like a million bucks, plays like a dream, and delivers that pure, unfiltered Strat tone without the vintage price tag or worries… stop looking. This is the one.
Serious players and collectors only. This shimmering beauty is ready for its next chapter — and it’s waiting for the guitarist who will truly make it sing.
DM me if you’re ready to own a piece of Fender Japan history that looks, feels, and sounds even better than the day it left the factory.

Our Guarantee
We stand behind every guitar we sell. “Good enough” is never good enough. Every instrument is inspected, set up, and tested by multiple people immediately before shipping. We deliver the highest standard of quality and have built a reputation as a three-time NAMM Top 100 Dealer since 2009. The Dude Abides.
Neck & Setup - (unless otherwise noted)
- Neck is perfectly straight with no truss-rod issues.
- Intonation is spot-on.
- Professionally set up with low action and new American-made strings.
- All frets are dressed, leveled, crowned (if needed), and all frets on all guitars are polished to shine like new with no divots.
Return Policy, Restocking Fees & No Tire-Kicking Policy
We follow Reverb’s 7-day return policy. However:
- You must notify us in writing within 3 days of delivery (per tracking) of your intent to return.
- Original shipping and return shipping costs are not refunded unless the guitar is damaged in transit or is significantly not as described.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns for any reason other than damage in transit or significantly not as described.
We record demo videos of every guitar before shipping to document exact condition and performance. Additional photos, measurements, or in-hand descriptions are available upon request prior to purchase.
Minor adjustments and tweaks to a set up (for example to correct a slight buzz or truss-rod tweak) are normal after shipping due to carrier mishandling the package, climate & atmospheric changes, especially when moving from South Florida to colder or less humid environments. These slight issues do not constitute “significantly not as described.” Guitars must be returned in the exact same condition as received/advertised or additional repair/restocking fees will apply.
We are a small business, not a big-chain retailer. We invest significant time and effort into every guitar. This is a NO TIRE-KICKING shop. There is no post purchase haggling or partial refunds. If minor cosmetic marks, tiny imperfections, or the possibility of a post-shipping setup tweak makes you uncomfortable, please do not buy. Plenty of large retailers offer free trials and can absorb shipping costs—we do not.
Payment, Shipping & International Duties
- All items can be shipped internationally. Buyer is fully responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs fees.
