1977 Greco EG-700 Iced Tea Burst – The Rare Fuji-Gen “Lawsuit-Era” Les Paul Killer That Plays Like a Dream and Sounds Like Vintage Gold!

If you’ve been hunting for that elusive 1970s Japanese masterpiece that captures every ounce of late-’50s Gibson magic without the vintage price tag, your search ends right here. This is the **1977 Greco EG-700 in gorgeous Iced Tea Burst — a true high-end “lawsuit-era” Les Paul built at the legendary Fuji-Gen plant during Greco’s golden age. Pre-serial, ultra-rare, and dripping with authentic vintage mojo, this EG-700 is the one players dream about: a dead-on homage to a classic Kalamazoo ’56 that delivers exceptional playability, rich tone, and pure inspiration every single time you plug it in.

Picture this: that deep, translucent Iced Tea Burst finish glowing with warm amber, cherry, and honey tones that only real nitro lacquer can deliver after nearly five decades. The carved solid mahogany body resonates like a cannon, paired with a three-piece maple neck and dark, luscious rosewood fingerboard that feels broken-in and lightning-fast from the first note. Long tenon joint, comfortable ’70s profile, and perfect balance — this guitar sits in your hands like it was custom-built for you and stays comfortable all night long, whether you’re onstage, in the studio, or jamming at home.

Under the hood? Pure PAF-flavored fire:

- U-2000 humbuckers — Greco’s legendary PAF-style pickups that nail that thick, woody, singing tone with creamy mids, harmonic bloom, and endless sustain

- Original Tune-O-Matic bridge, stop tailpiece, and vintage-style controls that let you dial in everything from sparkling cleans to roaring overdriven leads

- That classic time-tested recipe: mahogany body for warmth and punch, maple neck for snap and clarity, rosewood board for smooth playability

This thing is responsive and resonant the second you pick it up — it practically begs you to play. From blues and rock to classic rock, fusion, or anything in between, the EG-700 handles every genre with effortless authority and that unmistakable “lawsuit-era” Greco magic that still blows modern guitars away.

Real-world condition loaded with honest character and killer vintage vibes:

- Plenty of little nicks, dings, chips, and light scratches — all natural, tasteful playwear from decades of being loved and gigged

- It adds authentic roadhouse patina without detracting from the stunning Iced Tea Burst glow

- Overall nice player friendly cosmetic condition for a 48-year-old guitar — still looks sharp, plays like butter, and absolutely oozes that irreplaceable broken-in mojo

This isn’t some dusty museum piece — it’s a stage-ready, studio-worthy, player’s guitar that’s been out there making music and is now waiting for its next musical adventure. Easy on the wallet yet rich in tone and feel, this Greco EG-700 is hard to put down once you start playing it.

These pre-serial Fuji-Gen “lawsuit” models are getting harder to find every year, especially in this condition with original U-2000 pickups and that killer Iced Tea Burst. If you want a guitar that looks, feels, and sounds like a vintage Les Paul at a fraction of the cost — one that will become your go-to for years to come — this is your unicorn.

Serious players only. Don’t pass on the chance to take this beauty home and make her yours.
