Very cool and ultra classic, this ST 72 in a natural finish has all the MOJO any player could crave. This grunge era , killer sounding guitar features a dank and stank attitude that will have you standing on the verge of getting it on. The totally awesome vibe of this piece is a real treat that takes you back to the days when funk bands rocked and rock bands were funky. Carefully crafted to true vintage specs, it has a premium ash body, large headstock, bullet truss rod and neck with a clean U profile that is just right. The monochromatic color scheme of the natural body with the sweet maple fingerboard is actually a perfect pairing when you add the shiny chrome hardware. It does the trick to making this tone monster a visual bite for any player looking for some eye candy to rock. She sets up like a dream and really is a fantastic player, easy action, lots of bark and woof, and super detailed tones are all in fruitful abundance. Plugged in to the Deluxe Reverb this axe sings with all the authority we anticipated. Cosmetically, this baby is in excellent condition for its age and hs clearly been extremely bwell taken care of. There are a few very small dings and ultra light surface scratches. There is some wear on the fretboard on the first few frets from being played for decades. This only adds charm and vintage mojo to this lovely tone monster. Overall its super clean aand worthy of any collection. The fretboard is smooth with frets that have been dressed/leveled/polished, and all the hardware and electronic components are in perfect, fully functional shape. This is a great piece that exemplifies all the great traits MIJ Fender guitars are duly noted for. A true stage warrior, this funky beast will keep your rails greased and the mothership connection headed straight for electric ladyland.
